Flight Information

Direct scheduled flights to the major international airports of Orlando (3 and a half hours drive) and Miami (2 and a half hours drive) are available from major European and North American cities. In addition, British Airways have a direct flight from London Gatwick to Tampa (2 hour drive). The Southwest Florida Regional Airport at Fort Myers is only 20 minutes from Driftwood and is directly accessible from many US cities and from Dusseldorf using LTU International Airways (or www.ltu.de)

Car Hire

Although Fort Myers does have a local bus system, a car is essential for your stay at Driftwood. All of the major car rental companies have outlets at Miami, Tampa, Orlando and Fort Myers airports. It is usually less expensive to pre-book. When renting in Florida, do make sure that you are fully insured.
